The Tops housekeeping team were in for a surprise when they came into clean rooms following a stay by a school group.
The group of 240 people including students and teachers, were on a three-day adventure camp experience, participating in a wide range of activities including The Giant Swing, Vertical Cluster, Archery and the High Ropes Course.
When the housekeeping team opened the rooms to prepare them for the next visitors, they found that a scatter of colourful, handwritten notes had been strategically left behind for this hardworking team to find.
Adam Stewart, Manager at The Tops shared, “These beautiful letters highlight that preparing a place for people to come away and feel like it’s their home is such a critically important job, and our team is amazing at it – time after time after time.”
Whether its offering encouragement to students at the Giant Swing or conversations around a campfire, to the way a room is prepared and presented for the guests, thoughtful attention in meal preparation for those with dietary needs, through to clear and friendly wayfinding signage, the imprints of welcome and hospitality can be felt tangibly across the site and ensures people feel at home for the duration of their stay.
Thank you to our hospitality teams across all our services for the outstanding job you do in making our residents and guests feel welcomed and valued.
