Dr Andrew Ball
Executive Ministry Director
Dr Andrew Ball has been leading the Fresh Hope network for the last decade. Andrew has a doctorate in ministry with a focus on spiritual transformation. He believes that God has shaped the church to become places of spiritual healing and transformation for individuals and families. Within the Fresh Hope network, Andrew is a key spiritual leader, strategist, Jesus follower and transformational pioneer.
Director of Group Operations
Daniel Dwyer oversees the direction and governance of Fresh Hope Group Operations. His team provides functional and operational services, and strategic advice and input, to the Fresh Hope Agencies and wider organisational network. Daniel’s previous experience spans not-for-profit, as well as private and public sectors, in many roles including Director, General Manager, General Counsel, Company Secretary and chief operating officer. He is also admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of NSW and High Court of Australia. Daniel is a passionate leader dedicated to seeing God’s kingdom revealed in everyday living.
Director of Fresh Hope Venues
David Tolman has been with the Fresh Hope team spanning over 20 years. With a background in Corporate Finance as a CPA David transitioned into his current role as Director of Fresh Hope Venues in 1998. David also holds Directors positions with Christian Venue Association & Christian Camping International. He is passionate about family and adventure, and seeing the people of God, and those who don’t yet know him, impacted and transformed by the full knowledge of Jesus character.
Director of Mission and Ministry
John Crowther’s history speaks to his extensive ministry experience. Growing up as a missionary kid in a remote part of PNG, he has since operated as chaplain, youth minister, missionary and church planter. Holding a MA in Pastoral Theology, John is passionate about living loved and living to love as Abba’s beloved. John currently leads the Mission and Ministry Agency of Fresh Hope.
Director of Fresh Hope Care
Natalie Cook joined the Fresh Hope team in 2017 as Director of Fresh Hope Care. Prior to this she operated in leadership and management roles across various corporate sectors, including government, corporate, retail and not-for-profit. She believes in creating and fostering a contagious culture of continuous improvement, driving excellence, and building unity and collaboration amongst her leaders and teams. Natalie is passionate about Jesus and making a positive difference in people’s lives.
Dr Stephen Smith
Director of Australian College of Ministry
Dr Stephen Smith has worked with churches in Australia, USA and New Zealand for over 30 years. He holds qualifications in theology and counselling, plus an MBA, with doctorates in Management and Community Health. Prior to his current role as Director of ACOM, he served Fresh Hope as the Director of Ministry Health. As a social researcher and consultant, he has worked with a broad range of non-profit, government and corporate organisations.
