The Safe Church Training Agreement (SCTA) is an initiative of the National Council of Churches in Australia (NCCA). To help make Australian churches safer, the SCTA provides National Training Standards for safe church programs and workshop presenter training to ensure the quality of workshops and presenters. Fresh Hope is a member and participant in the agreement.

We want to continue to ensure that our churches are safe places for all people, so we now want to start to undertake our own safe church training. We want to train a new base of Workshop Presenters who are willing and available to present Safe Church Workshops several times per year. The 2018 SCTA Presenter training workshop will be held on Saturday 2 June in North Parramatta (inexpensive on-site accommodation is available if required).

If you, or a member of your congregation feel that this might be an area of ministry you’d like to get involved in, then please send an expression of interest to Ross Stewart.
