The Fresh Hope Venues strategy has clearly articulated a desire to expand our camping ministry beyond the heavily booked Tops facility at Stanwell Tops. Well, after years of research and investigation into numerous properties, Fresh Hope are acquiring another property in Joadja, near Bowral in the Southern Highlands.
We are excited about the property which, in its current format, comprises of 800 acres of rural land which was cleared for grazing of cattle by the previous owner. Its western boundary is the Wingecarribie River which despite the drought has a steady supply of water.
The repurposing of the property will have distinctly different options to The Tops. We seek to provide a variety of camping options that will help connect people with the beautiful outdoor setting. We are also looking to make lower cost options available for schools, churches, mission organisations and community groups built around three core drivers unique to the property: Story, Adventure and Choice!
The keys have been handed to us on 8th November with a development team commencing the project soon. The property will create a valuable connection with the Southern Highlands community by providing new jobs and visitors to the area.
We are excited by what is yet to unfold in what we anticipate to be a thriving new centre for Fresh Hope Venues!
