International Nurses Day is observed annually on May 12th, commemorating the birth of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. Established by the International Council of Nurses (ICN) in 1974, this day highlights the essential role nurses play in healthcare worldwide. Florence Nightingale’s pioneering work during the Crimean War set the foundation for nursing as a respected profession, emphasising the importance of hygiene, patient care, and compassion. 

Our nursing staff are the backbone of our organisation. Your tireless efforts ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of care, comfort, and dignity. Whether it’s managing complex medical conditions, providing emotional support, or simply offering a kind word, your contributions are invaluable. You are not just caregivers; you are advocates, friends, and lifelines to those who need it most.
