Fresh Hope Communities Staff Awards 2023

Last week we gathered to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our staff and acknowledge the wonderful achievements of Fresh Hope Communities over the course of this year at our annual Staff Awards. 

Representatives from our Residential Care Services, Retirement Communities, The Tops and our Support Services from Rhodes gathered at Watersedge in downtown Sydney and we were also fortunate to have the event broadcast to all our services who joined in at their own Watch Parties. 

Dan Dwyer, CEO shared in his opening remarks, “Today is a great opportunity to come together and celebrate as a staff team. Many of us are all about serving others and this is an opportunity for us to pause, reflect, and recognise that we couldn’t do anything we do as an organisation without you, without our team.” 

Raewyn Williams, Board Chair also expressed her appreciation. “Every time I get up close to the work that’s been done in Fresh Hope Communities, I feel humbled and inspired and incredibly proud to play a small part in the work that we do and the mission that we have, so I want to encourage you on behalf of the Board and wish you well and know that we are doing everything we can to support you to be the fantastic bright lights that you are in the lives of so many people.” 

It was a joy to hear of the testimonies of gratitude and inspiration our staff expressed in their nominations of their peers and witness the high calibre of all the eventual recipients of the awards. 

Award Categories included: Individual Awards of Values (Optimism, Kindness, Connection, Integrity), Wellbeing Advocate of the Year, Hospitality Hero, Team Player, Emerging Leader, Ambassador and Team Awards of Exceptional Customer Experience, Collaborative Team and Community Contributor.
