Creating Safe Spaces Workshop
September 16 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm$25.00
Creating Safe Spaces is the recommended safe church training program for Churches of Christ in NSW and the ACT. The course is delivered in partnership with the NSW/ACT Baptist Association.
CSS is an exceptional safe church training program, complying with all current legislation, as well as recommendations from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. The course will help you to foster a safe culture in your church, implement risk management strategies and also identify and respond to concerns regarding children and vulnerable adults.
We will be hosting a mid-week CCS course in September for anybody who has not yet undertaken training of this type. Endorsed ministers and SRE teachers must complete safe church training every three years, however all youth and children’s volunteers, plus board members/elders/deacons and other ministry leaders are strongly encouraged to complete this training.
