GLORIOUS DUST // All Things New
10/11/2018 @ 9:30 am - 9:00 pm$50.00 – $60.00
Glorious Dust was launched in August 2016 as Fresh Hope NSW’s biennial gathering for Young Adults. It is a chance for young adults to come together and explore the invitation from God to live lives of Kingdom impact wherever they are. We hope to explore how faith intersects with our public lives and culture and how young adults can let God bring about his glory in and through their lives.
“Whether we know it or not, the human heart longs for the Kingdom of God. It’s what we were made for. Throughout the narrative of scripture there is a promise of hope – that God is making all things new. What is, is not what will be. This broken, tired world will be restored. The glorious invitation for those who follow Jesus is to be a participant in this work of making all things new – right now, where they are. Where there is brokenness, God promises healing; where there is oppression, freedom; where there is destruction, restoration; where there is death, God promises life. This is the kingdom hope and it is what we are called to. What would it look like for a generation of young adults to come alive to the realisation that this is their calling? To live abundantly in every sphere of life as participants and vessels for God’s Kingdom hope, as lights in the dark, as good news wherever they go. This is the invitation of Glorious Dust – to discover your purpose and place in God’s story of making all things new and to live as a taste of the good and beautiful reign of Jesus wherever you are.”
We hope you can join us for what will be an incredible gathering of the young adults in our Fresh Hope family!
