Henley Brae Residents outing to Premier’s Concert and The Little Snail

7 Apr, 2026

Henley Brae Residents enjoyed a wonderful day out in Sydney, at this year’s Premier’s Concert before sitting down to a delicious lunch at The Little Snail restaurant.

Residents were treated to energetic and heart‑warming performances featuring a mix of timeless classics, familiar favourites, and a few surprises that had the whole audience smiling. A standout moment was the celebration of Play School’s 60th birthday, led by Play School presenter Jay Laga’aia, who gathered the crowd in a fun and nostalgic rendition of “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” that had everyone clapping along and thoroughly entertained.

The concert showcased an outstanding line‑up of performers, including Dami Im, Nathan Foley, Olivia Fox, Tarryn Stokes, and Jay Laga’aia, whose combined talents brought warmth, energy, and professionalism to the stage. Residents particularly enjoyed the lively group ensembles, along with the beautiful solo performances that highlighted the vocal strength and versatility of the artists.

Following the show, they dined at The Little Snail, a favourite for their annual lunch, where they were welcomed with the enticing aromas of French cuisine. Residents savoured a generous three‑course lunch, selecting from the restaurant’s signature dishes—such as slow-cooked fillet steak and mixed seafood, followed by indulgent desserts including crème brûlée and rich chocolate treats that proved very popular at the table.

“It was wonderful from start to finish,” one resident shared. “The Play School songs brought back so many memories and was such fun.” Another resident added, “The lunch at The Little Snail was absolutely beautiful — a perfect day out.”

Beyond the entertainment and delicious food, the day offered something even more valuable: connection. Outings like this give residents the chance to share a special experience, explore somewhere different, and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed, social setting.
